Cuttlebug Challenge

Well, here is the forth piece for the Cuttlebug Birthday Challenge which has been going on all througth the month of September. The challenge this week is to make a 'Centrepiece' following on your own theme. My theme has been a little boys party so here is what I made and let me tell you I found this really difficult as I have never made anything like this before. It was quite hard to photograph so have taken two.
I used an empty gravy granule tin which I pierced holes into the lid of and threaded straws through to use as my balloon handles. I hope it fits the challenge OK.
**Just a note for the Cuttlebug team I have now swiss dot embossed the orange centre's of my mini album pages which I couldn't do at the time due to so much pain, if you would like me to re photograph them please let me know.**

This is a card that I have made for an order today for a couple's ruby wedding anniversary. I was asked for something without flowers, no need for the number of years, to have the colour ruby on it somewhere and for it to have abit of humour so what do you think?
The image I used is one I purchased a couple of week ago to make a card for my friends wedding anniversary then forgot to take a photo, I purchased it from Mo's Digital Pencil Too! if you haven't been over there yet you really must take a look. The images are superb quality.

Our Creative Corner, Winter Wonderland & Allsorts Challenges

THIS IS MY SECOND POST PLEASE SCROLL FOR THE OTHER ONE.
This afternoon I have had ago at decorating a candle. I have seen these on other people's blog's and thought they were going to be difficult so avoid them, how wrong was I, they are so easy. I did watch a couple of videos on You Tube before I started but I honestly think I could of managed without.
I will just mention that this was not a particularly good candle it has an off white colour to it, I asked my mum in law to get me a couple from the car boot to practice on so I didn't spoil any expensive ones and this has done the job needed.
I have continued the snowflakes around the candle and then stamped 'Christmas Wishes' on the opposite side to the image.
So what do you think? I have not wrapped it up as this one will stay on my desk just because...
Now just by chance this candle fits into three challenges these are Our Creative Corner Challenge where they have a colour theme of 'Light Pink, Hot Pink, Chocolate Chip & White', Allsorts Challenge who this week want us to use 'Snowflakes' and then Winter Wonderland Challenge whose theme is 'Hot Chocolate'

This is a little late due to not having been able to craft for a couple of days but, it is just in time to meet The Sugar Bowl Challenge deadline. They have a brilliant 'Sketch' along with a colour theme of 'Pink & Brown'. C.R.A.F.T Challenges also have a colour theme challenge this week of 'Pink and Brown' so my card will be entered into that one too.

Stamp With Fun, Roses On Paper, Artful Inkables & Penny's Challenges

Here is a card I made earlier using the Stamp With Fun Challenge 'Sketch', it was an unusual sketch which is why I decided to have ago at it but I am not really happy with how the card turned out. As the card has dried the ribbon has gone all funny and even started to fray, I see this card heading for the bin the more I type. Perhaps I will add some embellsihments to it once it is completely set and that may change the look altogether. I have not added a sentiment either partly because I cannot print anything at the moment due to waiting for my ink to arrive and secondly because I don't know who it would be for if of course I use it. I have used the colour theme from Rose's On Paper Challenge which are 'Lavender, Soft Blue & Cream', it fits nicely into Artful Inkables Challenge where they have a receipe of '1 image, 2 ribbons, 3 layers & Scallops, then Penny's Challenge is to use 'Scallops' so that fits in too.

Sketch Saturday, The Cuttlebug Spot & Cuttlebug Challenges

For my card I have used the 'Sketch' from Sketch Saturday Challenge, then I have used the theme of 'Birthday Party Card With Gift Box Or Bag' from the Cuttlebug Challanges and also the theme of 'Confetti Creations' from The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge.
As many of you will know Cuttlebug Challenges are celebrating their birthday throughout the month of September and each week they set a challenge and you must continue your chosen theme through each week. For my theme I chose a little boys party. Last week we made the invitations, you can find mine here
Here is what I have made this week.
I made my version of the box from a tutorial I found on Split Coast Stampers. It is called a 3" x 3" note card box and you can find it here.
Sorry the photo's are not great I thought yesterday it was due to the weather I now realise the injection I had yesterday at the hospital has given me the slight shakes (I hope it wears oiff soon, as it is not a nice feeling).

Tuesday Taggers, Stampavie, Winter Wonderland & The Crafty Pad Challenges

Well today has been one of those days, between sorting out the DVLA's policy on disabled drivers and my hospital appointment it has not left me long to craft. So needing to make a Christmas bookmark for an order I looked for some challenges that I could fit it into . 'Bookmark's' are the theme over at Stampavie dt Challenges and Tuesday Taggers Challenges. I think that although this is a bookmark and not a card it will still fit into Winter Wonderland Challenge's theme of 'Vintage' and The Crafty Pad Challenge's theme of 'Christmas Sparkle & Ribbon', my bookmark has no sparkle on it as I didn't want to spoil the pages of someone's book but my ribbon has glitter running through it.

Here is something I have never made before, it a CD holder. I had some photo's on a disk ready to give to my daughter so I thought I would join in the challenge and make this. I also made another exactly the same front layout as a card for a blogging friends birthday. The idea of a CD holder is the theme over at Stamp With Fun Challenge. The layout of the card/holder is from the A Spoon Full Of Sugar Challenge sketch. I have used the colour theme of 'Pink & Green' from Cute Card Thursday Challenge.
