Wow I can't remember the last time I took part in a card making challenge, it seems ages!! I thought what better challenge to start with than the Forever Friends Challenge where this week they are having a sketch challenge. The sketch has been designed by their very own Emma. At first I was having a bit of a blank moment but as I needed a card for my daughter's friend who is mad on all shades of purple I came up with this idea.

Here is the wonderful sketch Emma designed:-

Stamped with memento

Coloured with Promarkers cut with large oval nestibility

Bookmark For Change Of Heart Blog Candy & Challenge.

I have used one of my new stamps Dolphin Head 569-J from I Love Rubber Stamps to make a bookmark for the challenge and candy offer over at Change Of Heart.
Everyone that makes a bookmark gets entered for a chance to win blog candy. The idea is that the bookmark is to be flat so that it does not spoil the pages of a book. I have therefore made the large tag to hang on the front of the book and the velvet ribbon lays through the pages and the small dolphin dangles out the other end.
For this card I have used:-
DCWV Blossoms & Butterflies as the bookmark base
Dolphin Head 569-J Rubber Stamp
Inked with Memento Ink
Coloured with Promarkers
Cut out with large scolloped nestability
Blue velvet ribbon from Crafty Ribbons
Jump Ring attached small dolphin which was made with
the same stamp and colours on Shrink Plastic.
I hope you like it please leave a comment if visit so I can return it.
Thanks

Just Wanted To Share These Amazing Stamps

I just thought I would share with you these amazing stamps that I received today from America. I have some more but have unfortunately run out of Kling backing. These stamps were designed by Linda L. Schmidt who runs her own company called I Love Rubber Stamps. Pop over and have a look, she has some wonderful stamps for all occasions. I received 25 unmounted stamps and the postage cost was $12.95, very reasonable if you ask me.

The reason mine are all 'marine themed' is that I have been asked by my husband to make 50+ cards. He is a Scuba Diving Instructor and wants them for his students when they complete or pass their courses. We had a terrible problem finding someone who had this type of stamp which needed to have such alot of detail.

Ooops just noticed the dolphin on the middle left has his back fin missing as I obviously didn't press down very equally.

Where Have I Been Plus Sketch & Stash Challenge.

Wow it feels like forever since I last posted here and the last time I took part in a challenge was well too long ago to remember. I would like to rectify that but I am really struggling at the moment, my spinal injury is causing me quite alot of discomfort and that means up go the painkillers and down goes my ability to create anything, I also have a double dose of antibiotics to contend with which are making me feel awful. I have however been doing alot of blog hopping and have seen some beautiful creations and read some great little 'blog episodes'.

Enough of me and onto the card I have actually managed to make. I decided to follow the sketch on the Sketch and Stash Challenge Site as I had a card to make for a 3 year old little girls birthday.
Here is the sketch
